Alpheus Capital was formed in the 2000s to manage the alternative asset programme for a European single family office, primarily focusing on opportunities in the UK, Western Europe, USA/Canada, Asia and Australasia.
Operating out of offices in London, UK our main aim is to make direct co-investments alongside private equity sponsors/managers in growth capital opportunities in the mid-market. To date, we have commitments and investments across a diverse range of private equity funds, secondary funds and direct co-investments.

Christo set up Alpheus Capital in 2003 and is a Non-Executive Director of Coca-Cola Hellenic. Prior to this Christo was an equity research analyst at JP Morgan Securities focusing on the European beverage sector and an investment analyst with Credit Suisse Asset Management. Christo holds a degree in Classics from University College London and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Chicago.
In 2003 Mike set up Alpheus Capital together with Christo Leventis having been advising precursor entities to Alpheus Capital since the early 1990s. Prior to this he was with the M&A team at Bank of America (formerly NationsBank Investment Banking Group). Mike is a co-founder of Frontier Capital, Charlotte, NC, USA and former Director of Kudos IFS Ltd, Aberdeen, Scotland. Mike currently holds a number of directorships in a variety of companies and sits on the Advisory Committee of a number of private equity firms throughout the Alpheus Capital geographic footprint. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (CA) and has a degree in Law (LLB) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Rob joined Alpheus Capital in 2009 as an Investment Manager. He was formerly focused on direct private equity investing as part of the ABN AMRO Merchant Banking team in London (latterly RBS Equity Finance) and before that he was with the M&A team of Deutsche Bank, London. Rob has a degree in Economics from the University of Edinburgh.
Oliver joined Alpheus Capital in 2018 as an Investment Analyst. Prior to this Oliver worked in the M&A team of Deloitte, Edinburgh and before that he trained in Audit with EY, Glasgow. Oliver is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland (CA) and holds a MA Accounting and Business from the University of Edinburgh.
Arielle Jelliff joined Alpheus Capital in 2015 as the Administration Manager. She has a wealth of experience in a support role at private equity firms, boutique hedge funds and investment banks. Arielle has a degree in Politics & Social Policy from Newcastle University.
